What is XXT? Is it run by MiniMax?
No. XXT is an independent service and is not affiliated with MiniMax. We run the open-weight MiniMax H3 video model on GPU servers we operate, and offer it by the second through a CLI for AI agents, an HTTP API and a web studio.
How do I use it with Claude Code or Codex?
Just send your agent the sentence shown at the top of this page. It reads the guide, installs the h3 CLI and runs h3 login, then sends you a link; open it and click Approve, no need to copy a key. After that it writes prompts following our prompting guide, submits the job, waits for it and downloads the video. Any agent that can run shell commands works.
How much does it cost, and what counts as night (Singapore Time)?
Video costs $0.009 per second at night and $0.0135 per second during the day. Night runs from 22:00 to 10:00 Singapore Time (SGT, UTC+8), and day runs from 10:00 to 22:00. In credits, that is 6 per second at night and 9 per second during the day, with 1 credit = $0.0015. 1080P costs double. Duration is rounded up to the next whole second, and the rate is fixed at the moment you submit.
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased and bonus credits never expire.
How do I buy credits?
Sign in and click Buy in the top bar or on a package here, then pay on the Stripe checkout page; credits are added as soon as the payment goes through. The minimum is $15 (10,000 credits), or enter a custom amount up to $1,500. If anything goes wrong with a payment, email hi@xxt.ai.
What kinds of videos can I make? How long, in what aspect ratio and resolution?
Four kinds: text to video, first frame (or first and last frame) to video, free shot, and lip sync. Videos are 4–60 seconds long (2–60 for lip sync), 9:16 vertical, 16:9 horizontal or 1:1 square, at 768P or 1080P. 1080P is generated at 768P, then upscaled, and costs double.
How long does a video take?
A 6-second 768P video takes about 3 min once generation starts; time spent in the queue is extra. Longer videos and 1080P take longer. Your agent can check the job status while it waits.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. The videos you generate belong to you, and you can use them commercially as long as you follow our Terms of Service. You are responsible for making sure your content is lawful and does not infringe anyone's rights. MiniMax claims no rights over the output.
How long are my files kept?
Videos, songs and uploaded files are kept for 8 hours after the job ends, then deleted automatically. Please download them in time.
Are there content restrictions?
Yes. Adult content is not allowed, and every prompt and image is reviewed before generation. Illegal content, anything that harms minors, fake videos of real people made without their consent, harassment and disinformation are also prohibited. Report abuse to hi@xxt.ai.
